College with Gatt - Soap Opera

Please remember Latin-American catholics have different views than our US and European counterparts. These types of interactions with holy imagery are NOT considered blasphemy nor disrespectful around here, it's a cultural thing really.
This is, well, kind of a thing that happens often: I have an image of La Virgen Milagrosa (one of Virgin Mary's many, many iterations) in my room. Whenever it's late and I'm lonely and I find anything weird/upsetting/ridiculous on the internet (or in this case, doing homework), I'll just turn around and ask her if she's "seeing THIS". Does María answer? depends on how tired I am, but usually her glance is enough of an answer, you can almost hear her patient yet amused sigh...
Anyways, they forced us to see this Spanish soap opera for script-writing class: we were supposed to watch the whole thing and make an analysis on what worked and what didn't on the narrative (for those curious, it was called "El Tiempo entre Costuras"; beautifully shot, cheesy like a wheel of Gouda). But I digress. Friggin' protagonist made the greatest chain of poor decisions I've ever seen, right in the first episode! this is only the part where I kinda lost it, a small fraction of the most epic screw-up in life you could imagine. There's a reason why I never watch soap operas and novelas people, I have a solid head on my shoulders and female protagonists in these are just... ugh, María, are you seeing THIS? :'D

PD: made this at 2am in Paint. I'll most likely do more in the future, to share with you some college experiences. I regret nothing.
